Artificial Turf Glue

Seam & glue-down adhesive for synthetic grass

The artificial turf glue we supply does two jobs: it bonds seam tape and turf edges into strong, hidden seams, and it glues turf down to hard surfaces like concrete and pavers. Single-component and ready to use — no mixing — and built to hold up outdoors across Arizona and Utah installs.

Why The Right Turf Glue Matters

Adhesive is a small line item that decides whether seams stay invisible and glue-downs stay put. The wrong product — or the wrong application — shows up later as lifting edges and visible seams. We supply a turf adhesive built for the job and help you use it the right way.

Strong, Lasting Seams

Bonds turf edges and seam tape into seams built to hold up outdoors over years of use and foot traffic.

Bonds To Many Surfaces

Designed to bond synthetic turf to hard surfaces and prepared bases — concrete, pavers, wood, and compacted base among them.

No Mixing, Weather-Tough

A single-component, ready-to-use turf adhesive built for outdoor exposure — no two-part mixing step to manage on the job.

Built For A Permanent Bond

Seam Gluing vs Full Glue-Down

One adhesive, two jobs. The right approach depends on what you’re bonding to — and we’ll help you choose.

  • Seam gluing — bonds turf edges to seam tape over a staked base (most residential lawns)
  • Full glue-down — adheres turf straight to concrete, pavers, and rooftops with no base to stake into
  • Single-component — ready to use, no two-part mixing on the job
  • Weather- and UV-tough once cured, indoors or out

Where Turf Glue Is Used

Seaming turf rolls

Bond turf edges to seam tape so two rolls join as one continuous lawn.

Perimeter & edge bonding

Lock down edges and borders where stakes or nails aren’t ideal.

Glue-downs on hard surfaces

Adhere turf directly to concrete, pavers, and similar surfaces with no base to stake into.

Putting greens

Secure seams and edges on greens where a clean, stable surface matters.

Pet turf seams

Hold seams firmly in pet areas that see heavy use and rinsing.

Contractor installs

A dependable adhesive to spec across multiple jobs, available for pickup or delivery in AZ & UT.

How To Use Artificial Turf Glue

  1. 1

    Prep the surface

Make sure the surface or base is clean, dry, and firm. Remove dust, debris, and standing moisture before bonding.

  2. 2

    Lay seam tape (for seams)

Center seam tape under the joint where two turf pieces will meet, or work directly on the prepared surface for a glue-down.

  3. 3

    Apply the glue

Run an even bead or troweled layer of turf glue along the tape or surface, following the product’s directions.

  4. 4

    Join and weight the seam

Fold the turf edges down into the adhesive, butt them together for an invisible join, and weight the seam while it sets.

  5. 5

    Let it cure

Allow the adhesive to cure before heavy traffic or infill, per the product directions and conditions.

Artificial Turf Glue FAQs

What is artificial turf glue used for?

Turf glue is used two ways: to bond seam tape and turf edges into strong seams, and to glue turf down to hard surfaces like concrete or pavers where you can’t stake into a base. We can help you choose the right approach for your project.

Do I need glue to install artificial turf?

It depends on the install. Turf laid over a compacted base is often secured with nails or staples around the edges, while seams and hard-surface installs (like concrete or pavers) typically use adhesive. Many projects use both.

What surfaces can I glue artificial turf to?

Artificial turf glue is designed to bond turf to clean, firm surfaces such as concrete, pavers, asphalt, wood, and compacted base. The surface needs to be dry and free of dust and debris for a strong bond.

What’s the difference between seam glue and a full glue-down?

Seam gluing bonds turf edges to seam tape to join rolls together, usually over a staked base. A full glue-down adheres the entire turf surface to a hard surface like concrete, with no base to stake into. The same adhesive can serve both, applied differently.

How much turf glue do I need?

It varies with how you apply it — bead size, the surface, and whether you’re seaming or doing a full glue-down all change coverage. Tell us your project and we’ll help you plan the right amount.

Is turf glue waterproof and safe for outdoor use?

The turf adhesive we supply is formulated for outdoor installs and tolerates weather and moisture once cured. Follow the product directions for surface prep and cure time to get the best, longest-lasting bond.

Do I use glue and seam tape together?

For seams, yes — seam tape is the base layer and the glue bonds the turf edges to it. Together they create a strong, hidden seam. For gluing turf to a hard surface, you may use adhesive without tape.

Can I buy turf glue without buying turf from you?

Yes. You can order artificial turf glue on its own for pickup or delivery in Arizona and Utah. If you’re also choosing turf, we can match the adhesive and amount to your project.
