Why The Base Is Everything
A finished turf install is only as good as the base it sits on. In Arizona, caliche and extreme heat work against you — the base has to drain past the caliche layer and stay dimensionally stable through 110°+ summers. In Utah, freeze-thaw cycles and winter drainage drive the spec — a clean, well-compacted base prevents heaving and the wavy look that comes from water collecting under turf.
We engineer every base for the project: depth matched to use (residential, pet, putting green, commercial), drainage sloped away from structures, road base laid in even lifts and compacted hard, then a quarter-minus setting layer fine-graded to a flat, true surface. That's the difference between a lawn you love for 15 years and one you're replacing in two.

The base is what separates a lawn that stays flat for 15 years from one that ripples in two. We grade for drainage, hit the right depth, and compact for our climate — Arizona caliche/heat or Utah freeze-thaw.

Precision Seaming
Seams are hand-fit and hand-finished so they disappear into the field. We use professional seam tape and adhesive, then brush the blades across the joint so you can't tell where one piece ends and the next begins.

Infill & Finish
The right infill, brushed in evenly in light passes so the blades stand tall and the surface feels right underfoot. Edges nailed clean to hardscape. Every cut intentional.
